The Boscaini Carlo estate can be found tucked away between the city of Verona and Lake Garda in the idyllic Sengia valley right at the heart of the Valpolicella vineyards.
Not far from the traditional marble quarries, this valley is a haven of peace in the foothills of San Giorgio Ingannapoltron whose church is famous worldwide for its unique ancient cloisters.
The producer takes its name from the grandfather who established it in 1948. Following his lead, the current winemakers, Carlo and Mario are continuing his enterprise with equal dedication, passion and mastery.
The cultivation of vines is done on an integrated basis combining traditional winemaking with minimal intervention. This requires little use of pesticides and a great respect for the environment. The pruning and harvesting are done manually using highly experienced local labour who have worked with the family for many years. In the cellars, traditional methods and modern technology combine in judicious measure to bring the best from each harvest.
All grapes used in the production of Boscaini wines come exclusively from the owner’s estate. |
